In my capacity as a Content Producer at the Tony Award-winning® Alliance Theatre within the Woodruff Arts Center, I spearhead various initiatives aimed at crafting promotional materials for theater programming, artists, and events. My duties encompass the creation and execution of digital marketing assets, graphics, imagery, and visuals, all geared towards maintaining the Theatre's brand essence across diverse platforms, be it physical, digital, or environmental.

I specialize in generating compelling content that upholds the integrity of the Theatre's brand across different mediums, with a primary focus on marketing our productions and ongoing programs. Furthermore, I collaborate with different departments to develop assets for fundraising and educational outreach endeavors, thereby contributing to the overarching objectives of the theater.

As the key content producer my responsibilities cover a wide spectrum, encompassing everything from conducting artist interviews to crafting show trailers, capturing portraits, designing social media graphics, and curating lobby displays. Moreover, I offer art direction in conjunction with our graphic designer, fostering close partnerships with external photographers and videographers to ensure that our marketing assets remain faithful to our brand identity.

In this role, I play a pivotal part in harmonizing the visual identity and marketing initiatives of our theater, thereby contributing to the success of our mission and fostering engagement within the Atlanta community.

THE ALLIANCE THEATRE

A Christmas Carol' was the first show I fell in love with at the Alliance Theatre. When tasked with refreshing the promotional assets for this beloved production, I collaborated with our graphic designer and photographer, Greg Mooney, to infuse the imagery with the timeless essence that resonates with our audiences. Our goal was to transport them into the enchanting world of Scrooge even before they set foot in the theater.

I took charge of overseeing the production and art direction of the photo shoot, which showcased our talented actors embodying iconic characters like Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Marley, and the Ghost of Christmas Past. Working closely with our graphic designer, we meticulously selected background images to complement the actors and create marketing materials that are both captivating and evocative. The result was a series of dynamic visuals designed to generate excitement among our audience, inviting them to experience the magic of 'A Christmas Carol' firsthand.

ART DIRECTION

Creative Production and Project Management

As the premier regional theater in the Southeast, the Alliance Theatre regularly hosts world-class artists and performers. When conceptualizing the Artist Talk series, my goal was to capture and preserve the stories of these artists that would live beyond their tenure with the theater. Collaborating with our in-house videographer and production assistant, we crafted intimate and informative conversations featuring actors, directors, and experts in the world of theater arts.

I am also tasked with the responsibility of capturing and editing show trailers. In this capacity, I develop the outline of short show teasers that are used for promotion across several platforms. While my expertise may not lie in the intricacies of editing, this task has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of all facets of asset creation.

As a producer, I am dedicated to comprehending the skills of my colleagues, so it is not uncommon to see me behind the camera or in the editing room, ensuring the quality of our video content remains appealing and engaging.

Community Portraits

Community Portraits serve as complementary projects for past productions such as "The Hot Wing King," directed by Katori Hall, and "Hands Up." In my role as creative director and photographer, I collaborated closely with community partners across Atlanta. Together, we aimed to capture portraits that vividly narrate the off-stage stories behind these on-stage productions.
